A LUDLOW town centre pub will not be able to re-open until the middle of January at the earliest.
This follows a licensing review of the Blue Boar in Mill Street.
A meeting of the Shropshire Council licensing committee has imposed restrictions on the pub when it does re-open.
These involve restrictions on opening hours and when alcohol can be sold.
It means that for an initial period of two months no alcohol can be sold after 11pm and 10.30pm on Sundays.
There are also requirements for staff training and for an initial period of one month door staff will have to be employed on Fridays and Saturdays.
The Ludlow Advertiser has requested a response from owners Punch Taverns concerning the latest development.
