HELENA Lane Community Centre in Ludlow will be the venue for an exotic animal show when it hosts its ‘Community Fun Day.’

It takes place on Friday, September 4 between 11am till 3pm various exciting activities will take place including: family fun outdoor games, glitter tattoos, face painting and a resident ‘Pop Up Poet’ who will be on hand to create poetry to order.

Simon Airey the Animal Man will be hosting the animal shows from 11am to midday and 1pm to 2pm. He’s been performing with exotic animals for a number of years and his passion for reptiles will keep the audience endlessly entertained.

Tickets are on sale for the animal shows for only £2 and can be purchased from Helena Lane Community Centre, 20 Hamlet Road, Ludlow, between 8:30am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

It is suggested people get them as soon as possible as they are limited availability.

Helena Lane already runs many activities and events, such as ‘Coffee and Cake afternoons’ and an ‘Activate Health’ exercise session to prevent falls.

The community centre also provides dedicated day care for the elderly and adults with learning disabilities from Monday to Friday.
