ACOUSTIC roots duo Mambo Jambo went down so well with Arts Alive audiences earlier in the year that they're back again to take the audience on an exciting and joyous musical journey, bringing together sounds from world, roots, folk and jazz, plus their own compositions.

This multi-talented duo plays an incredible range of instruments, with Frankie Banham on sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, guitar and percussion and Pete Jack on guitar, vocal, ukulele, banjo, tres (traditional Cuban guitar) accordion and suitcase.

New to Arts Alive, Mambo Jambo came with glowing recommendations: “The sheer enthusiasm and joy of their music along with their wonderful musicianship and great stage presence combine to create an act that will undoubtedly go down a storm wherever they play.” Jim McLaughlin, Musicport Festival.

Mambo Jambo will be at All Stretton Village Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm. To book and for details of supper offer, call 01694 723378 or email catelatchford@hotmail.co.uk
