A LORRY caught fire near Tenbury Wells.
A fire crew from Wyre Forest was called to Newnham Bridge at 12.05pm yesterday (January 11).
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire involved the rear brakes on the axle of a LGV and this was extinguished using a hose reel jet before being checked over with a thermal imaging camera.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended."
The spokesperson added that the incident was marked as pending closure at 12.44pm.
