Alison Hammond is set to appear in her very own series on the BBC, it has been revealed. 

Hammond has been a regular on ITV's This Morning for a number of years now and recently took over as host of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4.

Earlier this year she was also revealed as the new host of For the Love of Dogs, taking over from Paul O'Grady following his death in March 2023.

New Alison Hammond series on the BBC revealed

Now the BBC has revealed a brand new series starring the popular TV presenter - Alison Hammond's Big Weekend. 

The series will see Hammond spend two days with some of the UK's biggest celebrities, giving viewers an exclusive glimpse into their homes and lives.

The Bake Off and This Morning host said: “I’m so excited to serve up some big lols and tons of OMG revelations on the BBC as I spend some quality time with some of the UK’s favourite celebrities.

"When I’m on a mission no secret is safe, and trust me no stone or cupboard will go unturned!”

Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend will feature six episodes and is set to feature "big laughs, big revelations and a whole load of celebrity realness", the BBC said.



The broadcaster continued: "Set to be filmed across the UK, Alison will be asking all the big questions in her unique and hilarious way which has made the This Morning and Great British Bake Off star one of the country’s most loved personalities."

Head of Entertainment at the BBC, Kalpna Patel-Knight, added: “Alison is one of the most warm-hearted presenters in the UK and it’s no surprise that big name celebrities are lining up to have her spend the weekend at their homes.

"It’s going to be a blast!”

The celebrities set to feature on Alison Hammond’s Big Weekend are yet to be revealed but the BBC said they will be announced in "due course".
