GOALS from Dale Withers, Lee Millichip, Ashley Giles and John Bradley helped Tenbury United beat Leominster Town 4-1 in the HFLA Senior Cup First Round.

Withers opened the scoring in the 15th minute when he got on the end of a Dan Ridley free-kick.

Leominster equalised through Matt Strangwood, but United upped a gear and restored their advantage when Millichip tow-poked an effort home.

Giles then rounded Leominster's goalkeeper to make it 3-1 before Bradley grabbed his first goal for the club.

Mark Boucker and Chris Patton were on target for Tenbury Town in their 2-0 against Fownhope Reserves in the second round of the HFA Burghill Cup.

Bob Sumner's team will now face Tupsley in the quarter-final on December 6.

Holme Lacy secured a walk-over win against Brimfield in the same competition.

Nathan Hardisty scored for Orleton Colts, but it was not enough as they lost 4-1 against Wellington Colts in Herefordshire Football League Premier Division.

Newcastle hammered Builth Wells Reserves 7-2 in Mid Wales League (South).

Carl Price opened the scoring with a fine finish after taking the ball around a number of defenders before Craig Morris doubled the advantage after he headed home Tom Bright's corner.

Tom Price then got in the act by lifting the ball over the goalkeeper and left-back Huw Williams scored his first goal for the club to make it 4-0.

Builth pulled a goal back before half-time, but Scott Oxford restored the four-goal advantage.
