CLEE Hill RFC exacted some form of revenge over Willenhall for their heavy 32-0 defeat earlier in the season with a fine 36-15 victory at their Tenbury Road ground.

The home side raced to a hefty half time lead thanks to tries from brothers Charlie and George Evans, one of which was converted.

Despite Willenhall recording a touchdown of their own, Tom Rawlings managed to maintain their advantage with a converted try in response.

In the second half, Clee Hill continued to power forwards and recorded three further tries thanks to Charlie Evans, Richard Fletcher and Guy Hampton, one of which was converted.

“It was a good win and nice to respond to the heavy defeat they inflicted on us at their place," said Clee Hill captain Matt Bowen.

Church Stretton recorded an impressive 31-10 away victory at Chaddesley Corbett to remain top of the Midlands 5 West (North) with three fixtures remaining.

Another bonus point win on the road kept the pressure on their title rivals as they head in to a month long break from league action.

A first half brace from prop Tom Chard put the Samurai on the front foot, with back rower Higgins, fly-half Nick Morris and debutant Jordan Tsang adding tries of their own. Jake Heiron scored four points with the boot, whilst Jack Houghton added a further two to hand Stretton a 31-10 victory.

The whole Samurai team put in an inspired effort, but special mentions were awarded following the game to Niall Salisbury, Jordan Tsang and Regan Jordan, who all impressed as they made the step up to senior level.

In Midlands West 4 (North) Cleobury Mortimer maintain their 100% record at the top of the table with another thumping win, this time an 80-0 victory against Bromyard.
