A MARK Boucker hat-trick helped Tenbury Town beat Kingstone Harriers 4-3 and climb into the top four of Herefordshire League Division One.

Alex Bright was also on target for the visitors who are back in action in two weeks time – when they meet Kingstone again, this time in the Herefordshire Junior Cup.

Newcastle played for the first time since November but went down 4-1 at home to Mid Wales League South high-fliers Brecon.

The visitors were two goals to the good before a cross from Craig Morris picked out Carl Price who headed home.

Sam Morgan went close to levelling the scores before Brecon netted twice more in addition to having a player sent off in what was an ill-tempered contest.

Newcastle are at home again on Saturday when they take on Brecon Northcote (ko 2pm).

In the Sportsjam Premier Division, there was disappointment for Church Stretton who lost 3-0 at home to AFC Broseley, a result that saw their visitors leap-frog them up to fourth in the table.

They will be hoping for a return to winning ways on Saturday when they head to Shrewsbury to take on mid-table Rock Rovers (ko 2pm).

In Division One, Bishop's Castle ran out 2-1 winners at Oakengates Rangers.

Brown Clee’s match at home to AFC Wellington was postponed and they will be hoping to return to action on Saturday in the League Cup when they head to Oakengates while Bishop's Castle welcome Gobowen Celtic to the Community College (both ko 2pm).
