THE woodwork and great goalkeeping robbed Ludlow Colts of a point in the Herefordshire Premier as they fell 1-0 at Hereford Pegasus Reserves.
Depleted Colts trailed at the break and could not find an equaliser despite dominating the second half.
Kieron Hollis was foiled by the Pegasus keeper, as was Luke Hicks at the death, having earlier seen a 30-yard free-kick rattle the bar, while Colts were denied a penalty for a tackle on Jabez Smith.
Elsewhere, Ludlow FC won 5-1 at Prees United in the Salop Leisure League Premier with goals from Dale Hodge, Jack Mear, Kieran Dovey, Sean Evans and Tom Everall but Church Stretton lost 5-0 at leaders Hodnet.
