A BUNCH of Ludlow schoolboys are just one step from Wembley after reaching the regional finals of a national tournament.
The St Laurence Primary School team have already won two events at Ludlow FC and Shrewsbury Town to be crowned the Shrews’ EFL Kids Cup champions.
They came from 3-1 down to beat St Giles 4-3 in the second event and book a place in the Northern Finals at Accrington Stanley next month, with the winners progressing to the finals at Wembley.
Their efforts have attracted the attention of Herefordshire Premier Division side Ludlow Town Colts, who have provided the team with a new, sponsored, kit ahead of the trip up north.
